The Eucharist is the most important, beautiful, and noble gesture of friendship which God gave mankind. Those who are not able to live Eucharist are not able to live a friendship. If we measure the time of the Eucharistic celebration, then we count the time we spend with friends, if we quantify the length of a homily, then we estimate the time a friend speaks. Friendship is a gift for us, so the Eucharist educates us to stay with friends and true friends educate us to stay with Christ the Eucharist.
