When we wish something, we often lose sight of the source of our wishes. Thus, we try to fulfil them in a certain way, but then what actually happens in life is precisely the opposite. But if we are sincere, we can realize that unforeseen events, if accepted, enhance in fact the fulfilment of our wishes. We can recognize this only if we are not confused by our blind pride.
