Saturday 29 April 2017 – Saint Caterina of Siena

Obtuseness makes us wise and learned, so that we do not know God. We are very prejudiced, our smiles say everything and yet nothing and are only a demonic satisfaction of pride. We think that the others are wrong and have misfortune because in love with Christ. We think they are not realistic and do not follow the criteria of contemporary society, which is developed and conceited. The prevailing mentality is trite, but it increasingly forces us to think like most of the persons by assuming that people adhere passively. Hurray to those suffering the childish smile which does not bring love but allows them to say, “Forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.”
